Salvation Seems Foolishness to Human Wisdom

1 Corinthians 1:21 "For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." NIV
"Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe." NLT

Lord, Sweet Lord, I praise You again today for Your wisdom.  In this world's standards I was not a wise person.  I had no college degree, graduated high school with a B average, did not have a high paying job, and certainly had not made wise choices in my life...BUT YOU had someone share the "foolishness" of the gospel with me and You changed EVERYTHING!  You are daily making me more and more wise in Your eyes with Your Word through the teaching and encouragement of Your Holy Spirit.  Hallelujah!  What a Savior!
Yes, to some I seem more foolish now than I did when I was an unbeliever because I can now see the foolishness of the world's thinking and they cannot because spiritual things have to be understood and discerned "Spiritually".  Without the Spirit, nothing that is spiritual makes any sense at all.
Paul is saying that he was perceived as foolish by the Greeks,Gnostic's, Philosophers, and the religious leaders of his day.  However; without Christ, all of their "wisdom" gave them an eternity in Hell for the prize.  The "foolishness" he preached, brought all who believed Heaven for all eternity.  So who was wise and who was foolish?
