1 John2:26-27a “I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you.”
Lord, Elohim, You are most gracious ! When You redeemed us, You come to live within us to guide us into all truth. You have also gifted some to be Pastor/Teachers. Our danger comes when we rely on those men alone and do not search Your word diligently on our own. We must check every concept, every spoken promise, by reading Your Scriptures to see if they are telling us the truth and not taking their own thought and finding verses they take out of context and put together to make their own doctrine. Satan is a master of leading ones on that path and has done it ever since he deceived Eve. He uses that to divide Your church.
Lord, keep me ever vigilant, ever watchful, ever prayerful so I will not be led astray by false teachers. Thank You for Your anointing. May I never take it for granted.
