1 John 2:27b “But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit- just as it has taught you, remain in Him.”
Lord, I desire to remain and abide in You for all of my eternal life. You saved me, You sacrificed Yourself for me, You love me unconditionally, You teach me new and wonderful things each and every day. You guide me, provide for me, protect, admonish, and exhort me daily. You have written the Bible, Your love letter to me for my very best instruction. I do not want to stray, walk away from, ignore, or rebel against You.
There are a lot of counterfeits in our world and if I am not diligent and loyal, if I don’t take these precious moments with You each day, I might be drawn away. Lord, keep me steadfast.
