Matthew 24:1-33
1-2 "Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “I tell you the truth, not one
stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
O Lord, You saw what would be in Jerusalem's future the day You said this. And to this day the Temple has yet to be built back up again. Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans.
BUT You knew that the "temple" would be each of us as believers!
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is
in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
Lord, help me never to forget WHO resides within me and that I am not my own. Remind me when I am about to take something in either by my ears, eyes, mouth, or mind, or am keeping a "treasured" sin without looking at it through Your eyes that would defile Your dwelling place. Remind me when I sin so I might confess and repent quickly as to keep it clean and holy unto You.
