God's Fellow Workers

1 Corinthians 3: 8-9a  "The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field,"

Sweet Lord, I am so glad we are not all having to do everything.  Last night I saw this in action.  We had vacation Bible School at Hyland Heights this week and I was able to help last night.  The main goal is for the kids You send us to hear about You...some for the first time.
      There were:
  • children and adults who went out into the neighborhoods and gave fliers out
  • teachers who prepared and did the lessons
  • musicians
  • helpers who filled in all the other gaps herding children, serving snacks, mopping up spills, taking little ones to the bathroom, teaching memory verses
  • Pastors
  • kitchen workers
  • parking attendants
  • planners
  • purchacers
  • contributers
  • record keepers
  • parents who brought car loads of kids
  • cleaners
  • sound and lighting folks
  • decorators
Without ALL of these folks, it would have been a major flop/ there would be no harvest.  But, You gave each their tasks with their special talents You have given to get the huge job done.  We may never know how many souls (child or adult) will be harvested because of the labors of us all.  To You be the glory!
