We, the Saints, will Rule and Judge the World

1 Corinthians 6:2 "Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?"
Daniel 7: 18, 22 "But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever--yes, for ever and ever.'"
Luke 22: 29-30 "And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me,
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
Revelation 2:26 "To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations--"
Revelation 20:4 "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

      Lord, I must confess that for years, I have not given this much thought .   You have given Your Family an awesome (scarey but wonderful) responsibility and privilege.  I realize that ONLY by Your indwelling Spirit do we have the wisdom and power to do any of this.  In ourselves there might be favoritism and misguided loyalties.
      If we have the Spirit now, we in the church...especially the church leaders whom You have appointed, should be able to settle trivial disputes within the Family.  Lord, how we need revival!  Awaken Your church, Lord, to do what You have called us to do and to be!
