Be Merciful to Those Who Doubt

Jude 22 "Be merciful to those who doubt; " NIV  "And you must show mercy to  those whose faith is wavering." NLT

      Lord,Your unconditional love for people is unlike what we humans are usually willing to give.  Here you give me, as a Christ Follower, a direct command, not a suggestion.  In my unguarded moments, Lord, I must confess that I can become impatient with those who just don't seem to have solid faith.  I am of the personality that things are black or white....no gray areas.  You have taught me over time through the Holy Spirit to be more like you in mercy and grace toward others and have definitely knocked off a lot of rough edges!  Thank You.
     
      I can see why, especially in this context, You would have had Jude write this, but it is so needed that I comply today.  If those with solid faith do not have mercy on those whose faith is wavering, they may fall into the hands of the enemy.  We MUST love them, teach them, encourage them in the truth, pray for them, and have mercy- not show them impatience and condemnation.

      Lord, Sweet Lord, please help me/ us to obey this command!
