Jesus Alone Has Power Over the Devil

Jude 9: "But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" "NIV
The English Standard Version and the New Living Translations both use the word blasphemous:"did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."

Dearest Lord, I am nothing, and can do nothing, without You and Your power.  If even Michael, the mightiest of angels, did not dare to rebuke Satan himself, but  to invoked Your name, what would make me even dare to think I could rebuke him myself?  You, and You alone, have the power over him.  That's why in James 4:6-7 You told me, "But he (You) gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. "
These men that Jude is speaking of were proud and arrogant as well as ignorant of the truth.  They blasphemed even the angels.  If they never repented, Lord, they know the truth now, and will for all eternity, but it is too late for them.  Even in their 2000 or so years since they lived, they have only begun their eternal torment, separated from You, knowing their error, and that there is nothing they can do to change things.
Oh Lord, keep me from presumptuous sin!  Convict me quickly that I might confess and repent.
