Envy and selfish ambition is killing our nation that was once founded on principles from Your Word. You say that ALL are created in Your image and that murder and immorality is wrong, especially fornication and adultery because those are sins of our own body. Now good is being called evil and evil good, just as You said it would in the last days.
Lord, as You already know, this week we who refuse to have the money we have to give to the Federal government in taxes be given to Planned Parenthood, the largest proponent of abortion and provider of “safe sex” birth control to teen and those who are unwed, are being called right wing extremists.
Today, our legislators and president that we, as a people, elected to rule over us cannot agree on a federal budget causing our whole government to shut down. Because of it, our military and all other government workers will not get paid, and government funded parks and offices that serve the public until the budget is passed. The stalemate is Planned Parenthood and selfish ambition.I know that You control history Lord, and You have not promised that we as Christians, will not suffer. You have promised to provide food and clothing and Your loving presence-nothing more. That is all You had here. You also said that the world would hate us because it hated You first.
It does not surprise me, Lord, that Your children are going to start being persecuted in this country because those in Your “church” have compromised with the world and there is more world in the church than church in the world. Many have become apostate, believing a social gospel or have followed false teachers. There are more copies of Your Word now than ever before and more are available on the internet all over the world…and yet…Oh Lord, how we need revival! If persecution will bring it, then Dear Lord, bring it.
